Terms of Service

1. Agreement to Terms

By installing or using the Unified Slack application ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not install or use the Service. These terms apply to all workspace administrators, users, and organisations accessing the Service.

2. Description of Service

Unified is an employee engagement application for Slack that provides kudos recognition, pulse surveys, raffle management, and related analytics features. The Service is operated by Connecting Space Pty Ltd (ABN: 21114833117), registered in New South Wales, Australia ("we", "us", or "Connecting Space").

3. Acceptable Use

You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You must not:

• Use the Service to harass, abuse, or harm other users.
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Service.
• Use the Service to transmit unsolicited messages or spam.
• Reverse engineer or attempt to extract the source code of the Service.
• Violate any applicable laws or regulations.

4. Workspace Data and Privacy

Our collection and use of your workspace data is described in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms. By using the Service, you consent to the data practices described therein.

5. Subscription and Billing

• Free Trial: New workspaces may access a limited free trial period as described on the pricing page.
• Paid Plans: Continued use beyond the trial requires a paid subscription. Pricing is listed at getunified.io/#pricing.
• Payment Processing: Payments are processed securely via Lemon Squeezy. Connecting Space does not store credit card details.
• Cancellation: You may cancel your subscription at any time. Access continues until the end of the current billing period.
• Refunds: Refund requests are considered on a case-by-case basis. Contact support@getunified.io.

6. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its design, code, trademarks, and content, is owned by Connecting Space Pty Ltd. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the Service in accordance with these Terms. No rights are transferred to you beyond this licence.

7. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components. Your use of the Service is at your own risk.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Connecting Space Pty Ltd shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or relating to your use of the Service, even if advised of the possibility of such damages. Our total liability to you for any claims arising under these Terms shall not exceed the amounts paid by you to us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

9. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. Any disputes will be resolved exclusively in the courts of New South Wales.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. We will notify workspace administrators of material changes via Slack or email.

11. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access to the Service for violations of these Terms, non-payment, or any other reason at our sole discretion, with or without notice. Upon termination, your workspace data will be deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
